41 days of hand embroidery, in 4 stitches — Bakhiya, Phanda, Murri, Jaali.
Hand embroidered, never machine. Turn the garment inside out — if the reverse looks machine-locked, send it back and we refund the full amount plus shipping.
The Noorjahan is our most patient piece. Bakhiya — the shadow stitch worked from the wrong side of the cloth — fills the yoke and cuffs so the motif reads as a soft haze rather than a line. Cut long and straight through the body, with a mulmul dupatta finished by hand at all four edges.

I've bought chikankari in Lucknow itself and this is better finished. Bakhiya on the yoke is dense and even. Wore it to a family wedding and my mother asked which shop in Chowk it came from.

Took eleven days to reach Dubai, duties already paid so nothing to sort out on delivery. The mulmul is much softer than I expected from the photographs.

The embroidery is genuinely lovely. I'm usually a M and found it snug across the shoulders — exchanged for L and the exchange was free and quick.
